How you will contribute to our magical experience?: The Content Analytics Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing content performance and audience engagement, with a particular emphasis on tiering analysis and optimization for Disney Streaming Services. They apply advanced analytics to understand consumption patterns on direct-to-consumer platforms, collaborating with the Regional Content Manager to create audience insights using BI thinking, Machine Learning, and storytelling techniques. The coordinator builds strong relationships to boost data-driven decisions throughout DTC strategies and operations. The Content Analytics Analyst will be responsible for: Conduct advanced analytics to understand tiered content performance and audience engagement, delivering insights to maximize consumption levels.Partner closely with business stakeholders to identify and unlock opportunities for improving tier-specific content performance and engagement within the platform.Collaborate with periodic presentations and meetings, focusing on actionable insights and data-driven decisions related to tiering strategies, optimization, and advertising impact.Monitor key streaming and digital consumption metrics specific to tiering and advertising, ensuring a deep understanding of content consumption patterns, tier-related metrics, and advertising effectiveness.Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of new tools for analyzing tiered data, optimizing tier-specific content strategies, and evaluating advertising impact.Go beyond data reporting to analyze the underlying reasons behind tier-specific consumption patterns, advertising effectiveness, and make recommendations for tier-specific content enhancements and advertising strategies.What we need from you tobe part of this story: 1+ years on media entertainment / content analytics (preferred)1+ years of work experience using large datasets SQL / snowflake, among others (desired).Deep understanding of digital media consumption metrics and Ads knowledge (is a plus).Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Looker, Power BI, Data Studio, Tableau, etc. (desired)Experience with Python/R or other statistical programming language (is a plus).Effective communication & storytelling.Excellent time-management skills, ability to handle priorities, deadlines & problem solving.Initiatives, proactivity & ability to work without supervision.Solid interpersonal skills.
