In Farmington Hills, Michigan, the focus is on Powertrain and eDrive technology as well as in Long Beach, where the teams test durability of the latest driver assistant and telematic systems. The Digital Hub in Seattle focusses on developing a cloud architecture and building out the cloud platform for the next generation of connected car services. The Testing and Regulatory Affairs Division in Ann Arbor and the Advanced Vehicle Design in Carlsbad complete the competence center. The Compensation and HCM Analyst function will be a member of the Operations Team within the MBRNDA People Team. This position will perform a variety of technical compensation activities related to the company's compensation programs. This includes the maintenance of the Human Capital System(s) and supporting administrative functions. This will include but is not limited to analyzing salary benchmark data, compensation data analysis, analysis of job levels correlating to pay, administration of annual compensation programs, compensation-related compliance activities such as pay equity analysis and re-classification analyses. This position will work to ensure Mercedes Benz Research & Development compensation and organizational programs remain competitive and fair. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Job Responsibilities:Assist with Workday transformation from PeopleSoft, participation in system enhancement projects.Automate and streamline HCM reporting, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.Provide key analytical support for compensation program development, administration, and policy interpretation.Advise on compensation decisions related to hiring, promotions, and adjustments in collaboration with management and HR partners.Analyze Long Term and Short Term Incentive programs, participating in salary surveys and market data analysis.Assist in salary structure creation, maintenance, and regular compensation reviews to align with market trends.Uphold MBRDNA and Mercedes Benz policy compliance, contributing to various projects as needed.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of Compensation and HCM experience. Demonstrated understanding of compensation fundamentals, HR practices, and compliance requirements.Experience with HCM systems, specifically PeopleSoft and Workday, showcasing proficiency in managing and analyzing complex data sets.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed data and cost analysis to assess market trends and compensation outcomes.Experience in maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), particularly in Excel for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, demonstrating curiosity and a strong problem-solving aptitude.Proven attention to detail and an organized approach to tasks. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in creating and delivering comprehensive reports and presentations, particularly related to pay trends and compensation program effectiveness.Experience in HR compensation projects, with a track record of developing and implementing compensation strategies that align with organizational goals.In-depth knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods, with experience in conducting industry-wide salary surveys and compensation program analyses.The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related education, skills, and experience, geographic location, and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $90,900 - $139,500. Why should you apply?
