This role is part of Accenture Research's global innovation team with a focus on economic research.The candidate will be working closely with other teams of data scientists, economists, and the data visualization team to guarantee a successful collaboration between data-driven outputs and storytelling deliverables.We are looking for a candidate with experience in economic analysis, setting up econometric and structural models and writing reusable code, and datasets.The ideal candidate has a passion for economics and data-driven insight discovery as well as business acumen to help solve the world's most complex problems at the intersection of business, technology, and society.We offer a career aligned to our priority of creating innovation and impact, managing complex data driven research projects, with multinational and multidisciplinary teams. Our projects cover topics related to rapid response and business resiliency, the future of work, sustainability, technology transformation and have included collaborations with the World Economic Forum, Harvard and MIT, leading regional and multinational industry associations, ecosystem partners and NGOs.Key Responsibilities include:Help in the design and execution of groundbreaking and differentiated economic research at the intersection of business and technology.Develop novel data-driven approaches to support current and future research projects.Collaborate in raising awareness and understanding of economic research tools and outputs within Accenture and Accenture Research (econometric modeling, input-output matrix, etc.)Support global research projects on themes aligned to Accenture priorities.Qualifications: Skills:Proven experience in economic analysis and ability to make sense out of data.Some experience in setting up econometric, structural models and using other data science methods applied to economic research.Some experience in writing reusable code, and structuring reusable datasets, leveraging modeling tools (eg. Stata, R, Python) and techniques (cross-section and time-series econometrics, regularization, clustering, and other data science methods)Understanding of business dynamics and how to incorporate them into economic models.Enthusiasm to work effectively - independently, collaboratively, and virtually - in a global, multi-cultural, multi-time zone team.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately and effectively.Problem solver approach to work.Strong professional qualities: client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals and deadlines.Strong communications skills (focus on actionable intelligence) and good interpersonal skills in one-to-one and team settings.Qualifications:B.A. in Economics.
