Description
Incoming Payment
Coordinate incoming payment with agent in case of receiving cashier cheque for balance payment, with all local banks for deposit, partial payment, and balance payment, MPay team for deposit received, MBM & Financiers for balance payment. To ensure that MPay settlement file are completely interfaced, and all pending incoming payments are cleared in timely manner.
In case of the non-panel financier, the incoming payment must be fully received in MBTh's bank account before the vehicle hand over to the customer.
Follow up any customer open item with local bank, financier, agent then submit the information to MBGSP for bank reconciliation.
Bank Transitory Account
To ensure that MT 940 are maintained and matched with bank transitory account.
Ensure the vehicle stock at agent is controlled properly (physical and report can be reconciled)
Manage stock takings at agents and MPC, reconcile the physical unit with the stock report. Clarify any stock discrepancy with concerned parties.
Understand retail process flow in VELO and solve issues with ITM.
To backup team for e-Tax invoice/receipt issued and submitted to customer and the Revenue department in proper period
Queries and Dispute Management
To support any queries from customer, agent and financier together with all relevant parties.
To raise the critical point, prepare proposal for decision making on next level.
Continuous Improvement Process and Project Support
To escalate the issues and initiate process optimization in area of responsibility.
To involve in any special assignments and global ad-hoc project, e.g. e-Invoicing, subscription, online sales etc.
Compliance Control and Reporting System
To comply with the internal control process in topic of invoice collection, incoming payment and bank reconciliation.
Training and development
Managing, motivation and training in order to achieve optimum results with regard to the objectives of the function including personal development.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
Technical knowledge
• knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS)
• Tax knowledge especially Corporate Income Tax, WHT and VAT
• SAP system knowledge is preferable
• Strong communication skills and well-organized
• Critical thinking, analysis, and decision-making
• Comfortable to work under pressure and quick action
• Pro-active attitude and good problem-solving skills
• Self-starter and multi-tasking essential to job requirement
• Flexible to work on weekend
• Team working and good responsibility
• Good command of spoken and written in English
