Tasks We are Mercedes-Benz Parts Logisitics Iberica, S.L.U. and we are leading logistics projects at an international level within the Mercedes-Benz AG group and, therefore, we are looking for an Operations Coordinator based in Barcelona.
The Operations Coordinator must manage projects and functional operative teams affecting BCN Hub. coordinating different tasks in connection with our headquarter in Germany. Planning technical and organizational tasks, participating in all necessary meetings assuring best practice, systems and procedures.
Your main functions will be:
To coordinate three different departments, technically and disciplinary.To participate on the transformation of three teams in one unique department.Active participation in the packaging team.Define and mantain new KPIs.To participate in Tenders of packaging materials.Participating in the realization of new logistics systems.Transfer and assurance of new tasks/responsibilities from out headquarter.Monitoring the qualitative performance of suppliers to ensure quality-oriented processes. Qualifications Knowledge, skills and experience required:
University degree in Business Administration or Engineering focused on Logistics.5 years of experience.Confidente in decision-making.Experience in leading multi-functional teams and projects.Expert user of relevant office systems.Planning organization experience.Fluent in English, valuable German.Problem solving management skills.Leadership skills.Creativity.
