Position Overview: The Regional Manager of IT will lead and manage all IT operations in Latin America, ensuring alignment with the global IT strategy set by the VP of IT & Digital. This strategic role demands a visionary leader capable of implementing global directives while tailoring strategies to meet regional needs.
Key Responsibilities: Be accountable for the Gulf LATAM eco-system, applying global strategic thinking and principles as we evolve. Ensure a comprehensive Latin America digital strategy is in place with a focused roadmap.Ensure overall IT system and digital strategic thinking is focused on creating standardised processes and capabilities that match or complement a global architectural vision.Oversee the operations and support of IT systems, ensuring they are aligned with business needs and contribute to the achievement of strategic goals.Partner with senior leadership to identify business opportunities, mitigate risks, and optimize resource allocation to support business transformation initiatives.IT budgeting and resource allocation in accordance with global directives, ensuring optimal use of resources while supporting regional requirements.compliance with global cyber security standards, implementing measures to protect systems, data, and customer information.and integrate external/internal technology capabilities to enhance IT operations and support business transformation objectives.be abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in business transformation, and incorporate them into the organisation's strategic planning process.a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, driving organisational agility and responsiveness to changing market dynamics.leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the IT team and business stakeholders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, opportunity and continuous learning.with cross-functional teams and business units to drive alignment and integration of IT initiatives with broader business transformation efforts.in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned, leveraging expertise in business transformation and digital innovation to drive organisational success.Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
10 years of proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably within a multinational company with exposure to global IT strategies.
Strong understanding of global IT frameworks, infrastructure, security, and emerging technologies.
Exceptional strategic planning and execution skills, capable of aligning regional strategies with global directives.
Outstanding leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities to effectively liaise with global teams and stakeholders.
Experience in implementation of SAP is extremely desirable.
Experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and compliance with global standards.
