Pulpo is seeking an Operations Director, responsible for the strategic guideline to Programmatic, Supply, Performance and Ad Ops departments,to become part of our extraordinary team. Main tasks and responsibilities:
Ensure timely deliverables, approvals and campaign launches.
Understand Mobile, Display, Video, CTV, OTT, etc. for supply and demand partners
Evaluation of 3rd party tools as Data and Provider to share recommendations to the Analytics Team.
Assure high quality and optimization through the Performance Ad Ops team for all digital campaigns.
Deeply understand the 1st and 3rd party data that Pulpo handles. Work closely with Product, Technology and Data Xpand to collaborate in the process of preparing our data
Responsible for Revenue & Cost Forecast of all the business units
Responsible for the achievement of Supply and Demand's KPI
Certify the maintenance of the publishers relations and growth as well as delivery and monetization of third party US Hispanic inventory.
Provide hands-on assistance with ad implementation testing, and escalations to the Traffic Team
Ensure Supply strategy on new monetization strategies and technologies (Header Bidding, Exchange Bidding, A3 platform, etc.)
Develop programmatic display, video & audio offering
Identify opportunities for expanding platform expertise, supporting sales with programmatic knowledge
Understand the programmatic landscape and tools or workflows needed in order to achieve business goals with this division
Be main advisor in campaign optimizations and ensure healthy company margins with accurate reports.
Early detection of pacing and under performance as well as any campaign related metric with the Performance Ad Ops Team.
Help to continuously improve team productivity and technology adoption.
Requirements
No less than 7 years working in the Digital Advertising industry
At least 3 years managing teams (i.e., Operations, Performance, Supply, Programmatic)
Advanced English oral and written communication skills.
Connect & resolve: excellent communication skills with the ability to understand needs and translate into action.
Ability to balance workloads.
Self-starter, hungry to perform with persistence to deliver: project management and organizational multitasking.
Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Expert-level knowledge of ad systems (i.e.: Google Ad Manager, Sizmek, TTD), reporting, spreadsheets, and extensive collaboration skills are musts.
Deep knowledge of publishers's needs and publisher's verification tools like similar web, pixelate, etc.
Knowledge of Ad and supply fraud industry guidelines.
Strong business and technical vision.
Able to explain complex ideas and concepts to non-technical areas.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
Be the go-to expert for ad technologies, ad serving, programmatic, publisher acquisition, verification companies and supply, DSP, SSP and DMPs
