Job Title: Microsoft Sr Engineer
Report to: Engineering and Architecture Coordinator
Basic objectiveof the position:
Its main function will be to implement, manage and troubleshoot Microsoft infrastructure.
Manage and maintain Microsoft production and post implementation enviroments according to the planning of IT and business needs. Investigate new features regarding Microsoft technologies. Major systems that use Microsoft platforms (mail services, Directory services, File services, web services, telephony and communication systems)
Taskscarried outcontinuously:
Managing Microsoft environments:
• Installation, configuration and management of Microsoft windows server 2008 / 2010 / 2016.
• Installation, configuration and management of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Installation, configuration and management of Microsoft System Center.
• Installation, configuration and management of Microsoft exchange server 2010 / 2016.
• Installation, configuration and management of Microsoft Skype services.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft IIS.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft File Services.
• Build and implement DRP/BCP solutions for critical platforms.
• Define architecture and topology on any new project or requests.
• Monitor and report capacity planning for all platforms responsible of.
• Document any new project to be supported by Operations Team .
• Document any new technology and process that are going to be implemented.
• Monitor and propose improvement on current platforms.
• Research, testing new technologies and solutions.
• Document management and operation procedures.

Other requirements:

Knowledge of SAN technologies (storage area network).
Knowledge of monitoring tools.
Knowledge of TCP / IP and telecommunications in general.
Knowledge of shell scripting Power Shell.
Knowledge of ITIL processes.
Knowledge of Project Management.
Language:EnglishUpperIntermediate(WrittenandOral)
Experience: more than 5 years’ experience managing Microsoft environments
Education:Student Systems or related field, Microsoft certification courses desirable or similar experience.
