OverviewWe are seeking an Affiliate Financial Advisor to join our Western Region Fuels Department, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of Downstream Joint Ventures.
The department supports Aramco's downstream growth, ensures strategic alignment with partners, and safeguards value creation through disciplined financial oversight and operational excellence.
Your primary role is to lead management, development, execution, and performance optimization of high-value downstream joint ventures.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in profitability improvement, cost optimization, and value realization, with experience working with joint venture partnerships in the energy sector.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and monitor assigned Joint Ventures, ensuring alignment with Aramco's investment strategy and financial goals.Represent Aramco in JV Board, Shareholder, and Steering Committee meetings.Align JV strategy and performance with Aramco's business plans and shareholder interests.Financial Management & Performance MonitoringLead financial modeling and scenario analysis for transactions and JV evaluations.Oversee JV financial performance, capital expenditures, and budget adherence.Conduct benchmarking to identify value capture opportunities.Joint Venture Structuring & TransactionsIdentify and assess JV growth opportunities aligned with Aramco's downstream strategy.Facilitate transaction execution, including due diligence, business case development, valuation, and negotiations.Draft and negotiate commercial terms of agreements in collaboration with legal and technical teams.Stakeholder Engagement & Talent DevelopmentBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (JV Partners and Management).Mentor junior professionals and analysts, helping develop Aramco's next generation of affiliate managers.Contribute to knowledge management and process improvement initiatives.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Finance; Master's degree preferred.Financial certifications (CFA, CMA, CPA) are a plus.At least 10 years of experience in Downstream Oil & Gas, including 5+ years in commercial strategy, JV management, or M&A.Strong skills in portfolio management, financial valuation, modeling, due diligence, and negotiations.Deep understanding of shareholder agreements and governance.Proven ability to lead negotiations, influence stakeholders, and manage complex JV dynamics.Experience in developing junior staff and fostering a high-performance culture.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeIndustry: Oil and GasNote: Candidates must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
