Position DescriptionThe Machine Learning R&D Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing machine learning solutions to serve our organization.
This includes managing projects from conception to deployment using AWS services, Docker, MLFlow, and other tools.
The role also involves optimizing and measuring model performance against business goals following best practices.
ResponsibilitiesResearch, develop, and deploy machine learning models for localization and business workflows, including machine translation and quality assurance.
Use appropriate metrics to evaluate and iterate models.Write robust, well-documented Python code ensuring quality and maintainability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design suitable solutions.
Communicate complex concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment.Success IndicatorsDevelopment of accurate, efficient models aligned with project requirements.Effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.Commitment to continuous learning and applying new techniques.Clear communication of findings and challenges.Minimum RequirementsDeep understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, and classification.Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques and tools.Proficiency in Python for production-grade coding.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Experience managing projects from conception to deployment, transforming business needs into solutions.Preferred SkillsExperience with Large Language Models in production.Proficiency with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Sagemaker, SNS.Knowledge of deployment techniques including Docker, GPU deployments, and AWS ML tools.Education & ExperienceBSc in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.Master's degree is a plus.At least 5 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.BenefitsNational public holidays.3 weeks of vacation per year.Work laptop provided.Additional DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and ITIndustry: Translation and Localization
