1. PURPOSE:
To supervise air operation team and assisting Operation Manager to lead the team
Job Title:Air Operations Supervisor

2. SPECIFIC DUTIES?
1. Monitoring pre:alerts from Emails and another operating system
2. Monitoring arrival and availability of cargo by airlines and CFS, and coordinating with brokerage team for customs releases etc.
3. Monitoring delivery arrangement per customer requirements and follow:up
4. Monitoring ATAs /ATDs and reporting any discrepancies and delays to Manager/KAM team/Sales team/oversea offices/agents
5. Working hand in hand within the Brokerage Team, Customer Service Team, KAM Team and Sales Team for a smooth operation...
6. Closing files for the dept and managing the PNL.
7. Guiding, Leading and Supervising divisions within AI and AE team and reporting to Air Operation Manager.
Create and forward back up documentation for accounts payable for payments on appropriate A/P posted items.
8. Building Relationship with the airlines and trucking partners.
9. Creating processes and implementation of same
10. Running reports thru the systems
11. Reporting to Air Operation Manager
12. Any other tasks assigned by Manager
13. Working within the company KOG/KPI environment

Thorough knowledge of airport terminal and CFS warehouse practices and procedures
Cargowise system knowledge and experience

Overseas offices/agents:Building a strong information and communications channel with overseas offices/agents
6. JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATION:
Education: Associates or bachelor's degree
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Freight Forwarding with air operation experience
Excellent knowledge of logistics including Air Operation
Knowledge of Windows based programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and principals of cargo management system is required
Strong communication skills
Industry standard training/certification such as TSA Training, DG Certificate is a plus
