Essential Responsibilities
Provide total group leadership for Facilities activities
Provide total group leadership to continuously improve processes for all assigned services
Coordinate service improvement programs and provide process / service method excellence throughout the organization
Ensure communication of business / customer issues to members of the group
Pursue state of the art technology and processes to enhance serviceability and delivered quality requirements
Provide leadership to achieve resource utilization, cost attainment, quality, delivery, and cost reduction
Select, hire, train, develop and provide ongoing leadership and direction to the group
Interface with engineering, projects, internal resources, suppliers, and customers to assure requirements are met on time while meeting customer and business
expectations
Continuously communicate key business / customer issues
Coordinates and supervises activities of R&M technical personnel via personnel assignments, job or project management, administration and technical support.
Responsible for single or multiple products/services.
Responsible for providing a budgetary plan to operations. Monitors daily progress of job(s), project(s) and financial metrics.
Works independently under general supervision, requiring normal guidance and review.
Provides technical guidance and work direction to workshop staff. Ensures competent technical workforce to conduct business.
Leads the workforce in continuous improvement activities, both systems and processes, and benchmarks appropriate standards of conduct throughout the operation.
Responsible for large groups of employees.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Role Summary/Purpose
The AMO Manager demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives.
In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with minimum 10 years of experience in Services - Manufacturing - Functional Management
Desired Characteristics
Knowledge of principles, concepts, theories and practices for manufacturing/production field.
Excellent organization skills and communication skills.
Extensive technical knowledge of facilities, processes and equipment.
Outstanding leadership skills.
Union relationship management experience
Team management skills on development
Fluent in English and Spanish
