The roles for interns are:
Business Analyst Intern (4 positions)
The main purpose of this role consists in ensure the compliance of SOVOS products, services and processes. The BA intern will have to analyze business applications according to government specifications to update and improve them. This role is responsible for the analysis and monitoring of the functional development of computer applications, ensuring that it is Compliance to avoid penalties. The intern in this role must be able to ommunicate ideas in a clear way, to proactively get in contact with different stakeholders, demonstrates active listening, ability to perform in a team, understands priorities and sense of urgency, be proactive and be detailed oriented and organized person.
QA intern (3 positions)
The person in this role will be responsible to ensure the quality of products, tools, and services developed by Sovos. This will be done by using newly created test cases and existing regression tests to create test plans. And, most importantly, executing those test plans as well as test plans created by senior team members. Also important to this role is communicating defects with other team members. Another significant part of being a Junior team member at Sovos is to start developing enough product knowledge to work autonomously.
IT intern (1 position)
The person in this role is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company?s IT infrastructure and IT help desk. The IT intern will also have a shared responsibility of supporting Company?s Software-as-a-Service offerings. On the job training will be expected for Windows, Cisco, and VMware related products that support these infrastructures. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting fellow Company employees? who use these technologies on a day to day basis.
