PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Within SAP Consulting,
the Solution Delivery Center (SDC) is a group that provides off-shore and near-shore consulting services to SAP customers. This group serves customers on a national and international basis via tight cooperation with other local SAP consulting teams.
As part of SDC team, the BPC Consultant will support the implementation of SAP EPM solutions.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Be actively involved in the definition, preparation, conception, realization and Go Live of EPM implementation projects
Work directly with our clients and partners, providing our expertise during software implementations or upgrades. This work may take place on-site at client sites or remotely from our offices.
Lead client meetings and work with clients' technical staff to customize software to client specifications.
Communication complex technical concepts to less technical business users.
Represent SDC within establish project teams that most often include client and partner staff.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
-Several years of BPC Planning and Consolidation Consulting and Project experience:
-BPC on HANA
-BPC for S/4HANA
-BPC Standard Model
-BPC Embedded Model
-Business Objects Financial Consolidation - BFC
-SEM Business Consolidation System - BCS
-Disclosure Management - DM
-Certifications in BPC are a must
-Preferably experience with software solutions for the following topics:
-BPC Planning
-Business Objects Cloud for Planning / SAC
-Profitability and Cost Management - PCM
-Strategy Management - SSM
-Commercial Project Management - CPM
-Other Enterprise Performance Management - EPM Solutions
-Knowledge of Finances processes of SAP Model Company for Enterprise Foundation and Multi country
-Knowledge in Finance solutions to address the need for cost sensitive Finance operations versus supporting innovation in the age of digital transformation
-SAP Activate / SAP Solution Manager 7.2
-Interpersonal Skills:
-Good Presentation and Communication skills
-Customer focus, ability to handle conflicts, organizational skills
-Affinity with presales activities (creation of quotations, presentations)
-Confident manner, competent way of dealing with customers
-Strong team orientation
-English language skills are a must. Portuguese language skills will be a plus.
-Ready to travel for assignments (30% of time)
WORK EXPERIENCE
-Minimum of 5 years experience in implementing SAP EPM solutions or supporting running SAP EPM implementations at customer site, as a functional consultant
-Analytics and Data Management expertise is a plus
