Buenos Aires, Buenos AiresThe Business Analyst serves as the liaison between the IT team and business unit field users.
Identifies and analyzes business needs/requirements and assists in the design, training, testing and implementation of technology solutions.
Functions as the subject matter expert and educates IT team members on how users perform their duties and how operations function. Performs as a cross-functional team member defining business requirements, identifying problems and recommending solutions. Ensure tasks are completed on a timely basis and conform to specifications, processes and standardized best practices. This role will work closely with related development teams, senior management, customers, vendors, other internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the identification, review and analysis of business requirements; assist in design and development of solutions that address appropriate business need. (35%)
Provide subject matter expertise on all aspects of project's operation systems; maintain strong communications links between field users and IT team members. (5%)
Participate in the training/development of IT members on how staff perform their duties in relation to business operations. (10%)
Participate in establishing test criteria and assist in executing user acceptance testing. Ensure that development/testing meets all system requirements. (10%)
Participate in the deployment/implementation of application solutions. Support ongoing operations by responding to queries and problems. Partner in business change management, working to ensure system adoption. (10%)
Guide prioritization of requirements based on business value, risk, architectural significance, and others (5%)
Conduct team reviews of requirement documents, design documents, and work products. (5%)
Gather/synthesize data to ensure requirements address correct business problems; ensure resolution with implementation.
Collaborate with product owners, product managers, project managers, architects, developers, QA and UX to confirm business requirements are being met/delivered. Provide project status reports as required. (10%) Interface with analysts and developers for data and programming needs. Maintain/monitor project quality through improvement process. (10%)
Minimum Required Experience:
5 - 7 years’ business analysis experience in support of solutions development and customer relationships.
Proficient as data analyst, technical lead.
Knowledge of how to connect technology to business problems.
Working knowledge of project management methodologies.
Transportation and logistics industry experience preferred.
