Job Description
We are seeking an Business Analyst as a member of the Rates Orion program with development knowledge , delivering global integrated technology stack, and meeting current and future needs of the P&L; and Risk consolidation strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in an energetic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment and deliver on multiple project streams simultaneously.
- Contribute to the design and development of E2E projects.
- Interface with Business users as necessary for defining requirements and streamlining design.
- Participate in meetings ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones,
following proper escalation paths and managing customer relationships.
- Able to work well independently and collaboratively with others in delivering thorough results to assigned projects, tasks, production incidents and troubleshooting efforts.
- Modify and enhance existing system to incorporate new functionality and to optimize them for performance.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Provide production support by identify root cause and propose solutions.
- Provide thorough estimations of build and test efforts on new initiatives.
- Establish working relationships with various application teams and key team members and across the technology organization as appropriate.
- Interaction with different business groups like Product Control, Finance, Market Risk, Front-office and Middle-office users.
Qualifications
- Ability to lead multiple projects.
- Capable to understand the needs of the business.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Solid Organizational skills; detailed oriented.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in Financial Industry is preferred.
- Capable to work on high pressure circumstances.
- Capable of handling changes/uncertainty by quickly adapting to new processes.
- Software Development experience.
Technical knowledge:
- SQL database experience.
- Microsoft Excel strong skills.
- Java, Python knowledge is a plus.
- Tools – Eclipse, Maven, Git.
- Unix.
