About this role:
The Principal Business Consultant will support the Latin American Region for all Value Improvement activities. Driving, coaching, and/or executing various regional projects and initiatives to drive Global Value Improvement.
This person will work closely with the various leadership roles within the region to ensure a strong project pipeline development and replenishment, progress on projects, training as needed for regional team members, and ultimately realization of project deliverables in order to achieve BSC's strategic Gross Margin and Operating Income goals. They will work to also create a strong Value Improvement Culture across the region where all employees are driving value improvement in their particular roles.
Your responsibilities include:
:Partner with various leaders to develop Value Improvement strategy, goals and plans in order to achieve gross margin operating income goals.
:Project Manage various global and functional projects with teams to drive business outcomes
:Collaborate with leaders and their organization to inspire a continuous improvement culture by deploying process improvement/operational excellence roadmaps, methods and tools across the enterprise.
:Influence leaders and teams to deliver on plans.
:Support problem solving and resolution to roadblocks.
:Work cross:culturally motivating teams in the development and adoption of global best practices in difficult scenarios.
:Build a strong pipeline of value improvement projects that realize gross margin and operating income goals.
:Influence global best practices and global adoption of improvement ideas, activities, and outcomes.
:Partner with leaders, champions and employees to share best practices to further accelerate the rate of improvement.
:Facilitate kaizen events and other workshops to target key enterprise improvements and provide instant offense when necessary to drive strategic business priorities.
:Facilitate best in class Value Improvement, Lean, Lean Business Process (LBP), and VIP training for employees at all levels.
What we're looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications
:BS/BA Degree in related field and/or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.
:5+ years of Enterprise and Process Improvement / Lean related experience.
:Proven results applying lean in enterprise:wide and transactional environments.
:Self:starter and entrepreneurial/consultant mindset.
:Ability to build enthusiasm for change.
:Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
:Demonstrated strong project management skills
