Capgemini is seeking a highly motivated Capital Modeling Specialist to join our team and work with a top ten US Insurer.
Location: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, or Mexico.
Role Overview: As a Capital Modeling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining capital models to measure and manage risk.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

Key ResponsibilitiesInnovative Capital Modeling: Maintain and develop capital modeling capabilities.Data Mastery: Use Python, R, SQL, and Excel to manipulate large, complex datasets for robust modeling.Software Collaboration: Lead data extraction and modeling processes to enhance data quality and precision.Process Documentation: Document data extraction and modeling processes to streamline output generation.Analytical Insights: Analyze and adjust for potential biases in modeling results.Strategic Recommendations: Assess model results independently and make recommendations for project assignments.Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business units, rating agencies, and regulators; maintain expertise in model workings.RequirementsProficiency in MS Office, Python, R, SAS, SQL, and Excel.Ability to identify and recommend priority actions for improvement.Experience in consulting with business partners and reaching consensus on solutions.Curiosity and strong communication skills to ask insightful questions and extract relevant information.Proficiency in risk evaluation and mitigation strategies.Strong report writing and research skills, with the ability to analyze and apply industry standards.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or related field.2-4 years of experience in capital modeling or related fields in insurance.Knowledge of capital modeling methodologies and techniques.Proficiency in R, Python, or SAS.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and in teams.Knowledge of Solvency II or NAIC regulations is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive salary and performance bonuses.Comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and pension plans.Career development and training opportunities.Flexible work arrangements.Inclusive work culture within a global group.
