The role would be split in two:
1) Process re-engineering: Proactive in identifying issues/gaps and opportunities for new process improvements, taking appropriate actions to deliver simple and innovative solutions that improve the way we do business.
2) Process Automation: Automate processes currently run manually using the following technology: Xceptor, Alteryx (these tools are self-managed and training will be provided) and/or VBA.BAU processes:
Market Data Upload to different JPM risk management systems across Latin America. Reconciliations against market sources.
Perform numerous control reconciliations to verify trading positions are accurate through front office to middle office recs, middle office to back office recs including EOD checkouts.
Investigate and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmations.
Production of Management Statistics
Complete operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (New system implementations).Qualifications
Strong logical/analytical mind-set, with the ability of thinking outside the box and challenging the status quo.
Process flow understanding: ability to understand current flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlined.
Previous experience in Finance industry (Ops roles) desired.
Availability to work from 10am to 8 pm
Fluent in English, both written and verbally. Formal communication in English is required on the daily tasks
VBA is a plus.
