CORE –Assoc - Professional (Buenos Aires)Reporting to an Associate based in Buenos that will manage the BA CORE team.The Markets Controls team is responsible for building, developing and running the controls framework for the Markets businesses globally. They are key partners working with the functional teams to evolve and improve the control environment, to challenge existing practices, to identify and assess risk to the business, and to drive best in class practices.CORE (Controls and Operational Risk Evaluation) is the Firm’s new strategic risk and control assessment that is being introduced with the objective of improving the identification, measurement and management of the firm’s Operational Risks (that include Compliance and Conduct risk). The Risk identification and assessment team are leading the implementation of CORE for the MarketsBusinesses.Primary responsibilities include:Risk identification and assessment: is a team within Markets Business Control Management whose objectives are to help the Business identify, assess and mitigate their inherent Conduct and Operational Risks by;Providing and managing processes that aid in the identification of emerging risk,
Assessing existing and emerging risk levels in order to enable an evaluation against the risk appetite of the Organization
Linking existing and emerging risks to business objectives, strategies and priorities and
Delivering a rankings of residual elevated risks that help in the determination of which require focus and prioritization
Partner with the onsite team to ensure consistency and coordinationNon-Core Assignments:Lead the Quarterly and Annual Model confirmation, including the consolidation and tracking of the reports and the deck preparation
Generate the analysis around the Inherent Risk and Residual Rsik packs for Markets to be shared with the Business Heads
Management of the annual review of the control stands, and the ad hoc preparation of Audit/Compliance requests.
Coordination with the BCMs to obtain the evidence to feed in to the control evaluation run by the TCOE team.Qualifications:Control Mindset: Understanding of end to end control process and reporting requirements
