Facial Aesthetics Clinical Specialist


To provide educational support to customers to ensure they are competent and confident in the appropriate and effective use of Allergan’s aesthetics portfolio.


Understand the educational needs of the customer as they relate to Allergan’s Facial Aesthetics portfolio and provide support and encouragement to apply educational knowledge to practical in-clinic situations.

Deliver clinical facilitation content, as developed by the Allergan Medical Institute (AMI) team, to customers at conferences, clinical workshops and training meetings.

Formulate clinical development plans for the target accounts to be communicated and reviewed with the AMI Lead and BUD.

Work with AMI-Lead to determine clinical needs of customers and provide clinical facilitation accordingly.

Work with Sales Force during in house training events to develop their expertise in how to coach customers in patient consultation skills.

Encourage the appropriate and effective use of Allergan products by customers.

Maintain a high level of service through reliable and timely follow-up after any interaction with customers and Allergan medical trainers.

Attendance at industry conferences & Allergan Medical Institute meetings to engage with customers, develop and upskill yourself.

Quality & Compliance

Support Allergan’s Quality Management System and internal auditing processes.

Ensure commitment to regulatory compliance by attending training and adhering to Allergan’s policies and procedures.


Adhere to Allergan’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.

Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested.


Education and Experience


It is recommendable to have knowledge in Dermatology, Plastic Surgery or Medical Aesthetics, have at least 2 years of clinical experience with injectables or commercial experience.

Ensure you keep up with developments in your area of expertise, particularly facial anatomy.

Seek diverse learning opportunities and perspectives, quickly apply new knowledge and skills and use work challenges as opportunities to try new learning and innovative solutions.

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook

Advanced English, both oral and written is required

Approximately 90% of time will be spent in the field

Ability to travel – approximately 50% of time will include travel
