ExxonMobil affiliates have been operating in Argentina for more than 100 years. Today, ExxonMobil in Argentina employs approximately 1,700 people through several Exxon Mobil Corporation affiliates: ExxonMobil Exploration Argentina S.R.L, Mobil Argentina S.A., and ExxonMobil Business Support Center Argentina S.R.L. Since 2011, ExxonMobil Exploration Argentina (EMEA) has had a presence in the unconventional Vaca Muerta shale oil and shale gas.
EMEA has interest in multiple blocks in the Neuquén basin together with other partners, operating five of the seven blocks in which it has participation. There are multiple JVs, including 4 pilots under 35:year concessions in the following blocks: Bajo del Choique:La Invernada, Pampa de las Yeguas, Los Toldos 1 South and Sierra Chata.
In 2015, the Neuquén provincial government granted the first 35:year Unconventional Exploitation Concession to the Bajo del Choique/La Invernada block for EMEA. In 2016, following the successful initial exploration results in that block, EMEA began a pilot project. The project will enable EMEA to continue to assess the productivity and recovery of horizontal wells in the Vaca Muerta.

Job Role Summary 13;
Design, analysis, execution planning and implementation, surveillance, troubleshooting, and technical and operational support for Drilling, Subsurface and Completion Engineers for Drilling and Completing wells, performing Well Work (aka workovers) and Well Performance of wells.
Engineers contributing primarily to the Production stage of Upstream operation, while sharing Production knowledge to support asset development and technology commercialization.

Skillset required and prior experience 13;
Minimum of 5 years experience. At least 2 out of the 3 mentioned below:
:Workover and completion experience
:Hydraulic fracturing experience
:Production surveillance and optimization
Industry and market knowledge.
Communication skills; interpersonal skills; ability to lead virtual teams.
Fluent English written and oral.

* External: Work effectively with partners and contractors in pursuit of efforts on the projects and assets they support. Participate in industry conferences that align with the individuals skills and business focus.
* Support project development from concept selection through commissioning and startup and/or all phases of asset operational life through asset sale or decommissioning.
* Apply understanding of oil and gas producing operations, and teamwork, communication and presentation skills to develop and deliver cost effective technical support within your discipline.
* Primary contributions will be at the individual contributor level in skill areas specific to the individuals current and primary job families.
