PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Legal Compliance and Integrity Office (LCIO) is a part of the Global Finance and Administration Board area, and reports to both SAP SE's Global CFO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. Our mission is to advance SAP's business goals by promoting a culture of integrity, and by mitigating a defined set of legal risks. Our focus includes compliance with the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), UK Bribery Act, and other global anti:corruption and bribery laws.

The Global Third Party Partner Audit Team as part of the LCIO is responsible for managing audits and compliance assessments of SAP's business partners. SAP executes audit clauses in the agreement with our partners and engages an independent auditor (for example EY) to perform the audit field work. The Audit Team works closely with EY and the field compliance officers to ensure the audit is conducted as planned, the report is generated and next steps are identified and executed.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

The Senior Audit Specialist will be expected to take ownership of supporting and managing partner audits in all countries of the Americas region, with a focus on Latin America.

His/her key responsibilities will be:

:Is responsible for initiating, announcing and managing audits performed by the independent auditor conducted in the Americas region
:Is responsible for supporting the follow up of audit findings and recommendations externally with partners and internally with key SAP functions: Sales, Partner Organization, Legal
:Serves as liaison between SAP and the independent auditors in the Americas region
:Liaising and working closely with the field compliance team
:Supports identification of partners to be audited in the Americas region based on risk assessment
:Able to independently drive audits with minimal supervision
:Resolves issues with high complexity and cross:borders
:Develops collaborative work relationships within own team and cross:functional
:Communicates within works assignment clearly and in a timely manner
:Serves as trusted advisor and functional peer to other teams at the organization
As a result of audit findings and recommendations, he/she may work on company policies and procedural change and liaise with multiple areas to align compliance Policies.

The position reports to the Head of Global Third Party Partner Audit and enjoys high exposure within the business.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

:High proficiency with tools and procedures required to accomplish the job
:Bachelor's degree from business or law school or equivalent work experience
:Hands:on with attention to detail and written documentation
:Ability to do in:depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents

:Fluent business English and Spanish, Portuguese is a benefit
