The health and safety of our employees and prospective employees take priority which means at this time our process will include WebEx video discussions, interviews & onboarding.This is a Contractor position and the role of Coordinator, Business Operations will be located in the Buenos Aires office reporting solid line to the Sr. Manager Patient Engagement and dotted line to the Associate Director Regional Business Operations. As Ultragenyx expands in Argentina, this position will be responsible for executing and facilitating the tasks regarding business operations in Argentina.The Business Operations Coordinator will principally be responsible for supporting the design and execution of local business operations processes. This position will liaison with both internal and external stakeholders in order to support the logistic process by providing optimal customer service for delivery of finished products from port of entry to the customer’s final destination site. Additionally, this position will collaborate with local and other cross-functional teams in the region in order to convert business needs into structured data, reports & analytics. Finally, this position will contribute to the development and tracking of key business operations and logistics metrics. RESPONSIBILITIES (Including, but not limited to) Support Regional Business Operations teams by providing critical data to support forecasting, strategic, commercial intelligence and sales force effectiveness processes Establish and monitor key local metrics Provide suggestions on optimizing reports and dashboards Support data administration initiatives Support sales and import process for commercial, compassionate use, free of charge and clinical trial items Become the country’s point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding purchase orders, quotes, vial requests, inventory, local logistics, complaints for lost or damaged goods and product returns or exchanges Become a key contributor in the design, development and execution of optimized sales processes Develop and maintain key relationships with external logistic stakeholders Collaborate with Regional Business Operations & Supply Chain teams to align data definitions and expectations REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry Knowledge in analytical, reporting and data management processes; preferably in the health care industry Previous experience in local sales and import process Understanding of local rare disease healthcare systems Previous experience in customer service and distribution/supply chain environment an advantage Knowledge in CRM and reporting tools an advantage Ability to work in a multi-cultural matrix environment Be compliant with Ultragenyx Code of Conduct, policies and procedures EDUCATION College Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, economics or pharmaceutical/healthcare management SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Must be bilingual, English and Spanish, Portuguese a plus Comfortable working at all levels of the organization Proven track record of attaining organizational and personal objectives Strong work ethic and customer service mentality Adaptable, strong team player with outstanding communication skills and ability to work with all functional areas Ability to influence all customers (both internal and external) on issues that impact the business Demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration and analytical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Sense of urgency Excellent administration and organizational skills Strong computer skills System/Technology savvy, advanced MS Excel and database skills an advantage Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical is an equal opportunity employer & prohibits unlawful discrimination based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin/ancestry, age, disability, marital and veteran status.
