Reporting to the General Manager of ViewSonic Latin Americas, the Argentina Country Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities of new and established named accounts in assigned areas of Argentina. The position will be tasked with managing and engaging strategic channel, resale, retail and e-commerce accounts resulting in additional sales of ViewSonic products. Successful candidate will develop and grow new and existing accounts as assigned. Responsible for maintaining and increasing volume levels with existing assigned accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Develop and implement innovative account based annual and quarterly marketing plans and activities.

Performs review of marketing investments and ROI, has general supervision and responsibility for the investment of ADF funds.

Selective targeting of new strategic customers in the assigned areas- instituting new programs, improving communication between ViewSonic and the target companies.

Will develop strong relationships with the highest levels of executive management within each assigned account and translate this relationship into an ability to go to the top when instituting programs and initiatives.

Maintain a well-defined sales strategy for all accounts; effectively manage inventory levels, returns, stock adjustments, and defective return ratios, manage all required credit memos and follow-up documentation, maintain a consistent program of team sales calls with sales staff and management.

Will effectively implement all corporate programs and initiatives; improve development of future budgets, working with corporate to reduce expenses and maintain maximum levels of operational efficiencies, maintain consistent on-time reporting of expenses and other required reports.

Will contribute to the development of future marketing and sales programs by regularly reporting to corporate competitive pricing information, new product introductions, and promotional activities.

Attend trade shows, conduct seminars, participate in reseller sales events, conduct product training and do executive level presentations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration, other related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in the display or computer hardware products industry, specifically managing distribution, reseller, etail, and DMR accounts.

Experience must demonstrate a high level of job related product knowledge, established presence with industry competition, and experience at the C level with large national accounts.

Have demonstrated the ability to promote consistent quarterly revenue growth in the region and drive market share upward.

Personal attributes should demonstrate maturity in decision making, good teamwork, excellent communication, creativity, high productivity, excellent time management skills, the ability to manage ongoing sales training, etc.

Accustomed up to 50% business travels, familiar with managing travel schedules, expenses, etc…

Manufacturing experience is helpful but not necessary.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Travel: 60% travel; mostly in assigned region with some nationwide travels

Environment: As this is a field sales position, the environment is usually on the road visiting customers and prospects. Home office is the standard office environment.

Physical Effort: Work requires frequent physical demands in terms of maintaining a continuous pace of business travels, and maneuvering and setting up demo equipment.

Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards.
