ASSIGNMENT Customer Project Manager will be responsible for overall management and delivery of SIOP fiber design, fielding, and construction services for Fixed Networks design and deployment. CPM will provide analysis and recommendations regarding complex issues balancing the customer needs, the contract, and delivery schedule with a direct impact to the company bottom line. He/she must be able to effectively communicate issues with the project team to identify issues/risks and develop mutually acceptable solutions. He/She will be responsible for developing curricula and training the local teams on the processes as well as obtaining customer approval of established deliverables. The CPM responsibilities may include: assistance with implementation of overall project plan for successful on time delivery of services to the Customer, monitoring and maintaining the regional staffing plan, developing risk assessment and mitigation plans, evaluating whether KPIs are met or are at risk in the implementation of the project, coordinating with internal groups to ensure that end to end project completion is as timely and efficient as possible. The CPM is responsible for providing permitting and design project delivery status reports and mitigation plans. The Customer PM is responsible for assisting with the development of action plans to improve project timelines as well as implementation of those plans.
Qualifications:
At least 10 years of experience managing telecommunications construction projects, including customer interfacing and vendor management.
Proficient in PMBOK standards : PMP a plus.
