Chevron's Business Support Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires, is accepting applications for the position of Data Analyst.
Successful candidates will join the IT organization, which is part of a multifunctional service center with over 1500 employees delivering business services and solutions globally.
The Data Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and solving data-related problems, understanding data types and relationships, and providing guidance on how business workflows map to data and how data can be integrated to develop reusable data products.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Understanding business data use and stakeholder requirements to support work processes and objectives.
Providing data management guidance for data foundation initiatives and data product development.Analyzing current data management practices, processes, and tools.
Contributing to future needs and designing common data models.Assessing data quality issues related to workflow solutions and driving mitigation activities.Maintaining knowledge of data requirements, types, definitions, stores, and creation processes.Required Qualifications: Experience with big data computing, data acquisition, wrangling, and preparation; business process and data modeling; data strategy, policies, and governance.Understanding of software engineering principles using technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks, DevOps, and Azure Synapse.Proficiency in SQL, including understanding or writing complex queries.Experience with Power BI.Relocation Options: Relocation may be considered.
