Role description:
We're looking for a Data Engineer for a 6-month project. Working hours: 8 hours/day, Mon-Fr, EST time zone.
Responsibilities:Assist with data import (ETL) and maintenanceProcess, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysisDevelop overarching best practices and protocols for data usage agreements with clients and vendor partnersManage flow of data from raw format to end-usersDevelop templates and infrastructure to support data visualizationMaintain and update data model and documentation to support business requirementsAutomate electronic data exchangeApply data architecture best practicesServe as a subject matter expert and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data-related issuesTechnical Skills:Excellent knowledge of relational database management systems, data modeling, data migration and data visualizationExperience with data architecture with cloud computing toolsExperience with AWS particularly S3, Athena, Data Pipeline and GlueExperience with test-driven developmentAbility to document requirements and specificationsQualifications:English level B2+Proven working-experience in data engineeringBS degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or EngineeringHands-on experience in data modeling and data visualizationAWS experienceExperience in a variety of coding languages such as SQL, Python, Java or Scala
