The successful candidate for this position will benefit from broad exposure to a multiple Business Partners across the globe and collaborate with Projects providing Data Management solutions, working with BPs from applications and coordinate efforts across different teams for deployment of solutions. The selected person will acquire/strengthen his/her knowledge in the data management space, allowing the business to manage the information across its lifecycle and make better decisions.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Participate on projects ( Cloud migrations), providing solution design recommendations reflecting an enterprise, strategic view and fit of the solution with established reference enterprise architectures.
Directly interface with Business Units to understand Data Management requirements and advise accordingly.
Drive change and help business functions maximizing the value they are getting out of the Data Management platforms in use.
Provide consultancy to data management platforms (SQL, Oracle) and technologies (Azure, PowerBI Gateways, etc.).
Special Considerations:
Information Systems or related degree, completed or in progress.
Selection Criteria:
Technical background:
-3-5 years of experience in IT support or projects with a high-level background in databases solutions.
-Cloud experience is preferred. Microsoft Azure data technologies highly considered.
-Experience with Scripting languages.
-Understanding of IT systems and integration ( infrastructure, applications, development, networks, operating systems, etc.).
Communication:
-Communicate in a clear, concise and understandable manner across all levels of a culturally and geographically diverse environment. Intermediate/Advance English skills.
-Experience facilitating meetings with a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders. Goals are to ensure meeting objectives are met, issues are captured, and a concise record is created.
-Needs to listen carefully, and ask clarifying questions to understand the views, concerns and comments of others.
Consulting:
-Ability to translate technical information in a business terms and capabilities, and vice versa.
-Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
-Ability to work independently, but also be collaborative and demonstrate One Team Behaviors.
-Willingly take ownership of deliverables; develop plans with clear and achievable goals, and then follow through to completion.
