MISIÓN DEL ÁREA
Responsible for large scale software design, development, testing, architecture and documentation
PROPÓSITO DEL ROL
This role is responsible for headend software design and development for delivery Video content through Satellite and OTT to Set-Top-box and mobile device in Latin American regions. The position also requires maintaining, improving and re-engineering existing Satellite broadcast system.
DEPENDENCIA FUNCIONAL
Work with technical leader, 3rd party Vendors, internal and external engineers in different Countries.
PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILIDADES
Architecting and developing software applications to be cloud optimized for Satellite and OTT video service.
Maintenance and improvement of existing Satellite Video Broadcast application.
Develop Service-oriented application in different cloud platforms.
Collaborate to gather and review softwarerequirements/user stories, create software design specifications and collaborate with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
Work alongside with Technical leader, external vendor and Product and Business team to perform Technical feasibility study and cost/timeline assessment.
Working as both an infrastructure and application development.
Calificaciones
FORMACIÓN
BS degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Masters Degree Desired
EXPERIENCIA
7+ years of related work in software development.
Experience with modern application and database Architecture
Experience with continuous integration and cloud monitor tolos.
Experience working within digital media, software development, broadcast, or related media sectors, delivering digital media roadmaps.
CONOCIMIENTOS TÉCNICOS
Extensive experience with Cloud application development using Container and software as service technologies.
Extensive experience relational Databases, such as (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase, DB2).
Significant experience with Infrastructure-as-a-service platforms.
Significant experience in Agile Software development and DevOps.
Experience on Continuous integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) skills for real-time testing and diagnostics.
Experience using Git (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.), mercurial, CVS for code version control in a team environment.
Experience with design and develop cloud service application with Auto Scaling, high availability, Elastic Load Balancing and Elastic Container Service.
Deep software development knowledge with respect cloud architecture, design pattern, agile programming and software lifecycle.
Mandatory fluency in Spanish and English.
Desirable fluency in Portuguese.

CONDICIONES DE TRABAJO
Días / Horario de trabajo: Lunes a Viernes de 9 a 18 hs.
