Desktop Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Desktop Platform Engineer for a shared service center.

The objective of this position is to rationalize, simplify, standardize and automate the workstation infrastructure, in addition to providing users with a secondary platform to easily access central applications and documents, both from inside and outside the company.

Principal functions:

- Create and maintain a unique and global desktop SOE containing all major software components and configurations
- Create and maintain a single global baseline compilation of the Citrix server
- Maintain the mobile computing environment of the company.
- Package main and specialized applications in a consistent and modular way so that they can be published, sent and withdrawn on demand
- Create and define hardware standards for new purchases of desktops and laptops
- Define, develop and review the standards, policies and recommendations of Citrix and Workstation, as necessary.
- Assist in the continuous development and expansion of existing Citrix and SCCM toolsets to offer the best possible user experience to all customers within the company
- Provide level 3 support and assistance in case of incidents that escalate from local offices, as well as other global IT and business services.

Requirements:

- Experience, MCSE certification and CCA-V preferred, with a solid working knowledge in a wide variety of desktop and server hardware (GPO's) / Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp) client
- Microsoft Windows desktop operating system domain, group policies and AD
- Skills in the construction, administration and maintenance of a Citrix business farm and is compatible with infrastructure components. Knowledge is required in solving performance problems
- Knowledge in Windows Server and Hyper-V
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft SCCM. Detailed knowledge of its use in patches, application delivery and implementation of operating systems in a business environment
- The domain of scripting and packaging applications is preferred for the Visual Basic enterprise deployment and primarily Powershell.
- Advanced English level - Bilingual
- Flexibility to work in rotating schedules
