Software Engineers conduct or participate in multidisciplinary research and collaborate with design, layout and/or hardware engineers in the design, development, and utilization of productivity enhancement layout tools and design rule checkers, electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs, advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements, designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgement and formal software process.

About The Role:
You will work closely with the development teams to create automated strategies
You will review product requirements, specifications and technical design documents and provide accurate feedback to ensure that software has all required to deploy automatically.
You will define detailed, comprehensive and well:structured deployments plans which are streamlined for automation
Drawing on your creative nature, you will drive the existing automation frameworks forward to benefit automation across multiple products and may be asked to create new frameworks depending on need.
You will have a good knowledges in AWS.
Using your skills in Python and other languages (as appropriate) when you are coding our deployment framework, along with technologies such as (but not limited to) kubernetes, docker and virtualization
You will propose and create innovative solutions to automating software deployment in a performant and scalable fashion
You will use your experience in agile development practices and risk:based to ensure efficient release.
You will be estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating automation activities
You will need to identify and document product defects that you find, and work closely with the development team to help them resolve the defects
You will help developer team to adopt best practices in deployment automation.

You have experience in a Software DevOps role.
Previously exposed to a variety of Operating Systems (Windows Server, Windows desktop, Mac)
Experience of AWS, Teamcity or similar Automation tool
You have experience in Python
Anything above that gets you an enthusiastic high:five and bonus points for having experience in the computer security industry
Degree Level Computing Qualification or equivalent
Building partnerships and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with internal and external parties including Dev and QA teams, Program/Product managers, Technical Publications and other Project Stakeholders.
You have a keen interest/experience in improving efficiency in deployment automation.
Software Development attitude and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
Positively adapting to project changes and multitasking.
