**Digital Marketing Manager (Web, Social, Email), Oracle for Research (IC3 - 16330)** **Preferred Qualifications** **Digital Marketing Manager (Web, Social, Email), Oracle for Research (IC3 - 16330)** We are looking for a uniquely qualified person to work on the OCI "Oracle for Research" program team. The program focuses on collaborating with researchers to expand Oracle Cloud adoption by researchers, on nurturing and developing community, and on sharing the ways researchers use Oracle Cloud to change the world through their work. Oracle for Research provides scientists, researchers, and university innovators with open communities; high-value, cost-effective, robust Oracle Cloud technologies; and startup and industry collaborations to find solutions to complex problems. The ideal candidate will have some experience working with digital marketing, from web to search to display to advertising, and, a comfort with managing multiple digital projects at once. An understanding of the intricacies of lead generation is essential. **Location** + Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, Chile, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina + Remote ok depending on candidate, CST or PST preferred **Ideal Candidate Background** + 5 years of work experience for a brand managing digital content and properties across a multitude of disciplines: from blogs to web to advertising and events + Knowledge of digital marketing technologies across the entire MarComs stack + Hands-on experience with CMSes (WordPress, Drupal, etc), analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), automation tools (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua), and CRM tools (CX or Salesforce) + Familiarity with SEO, SEM, Search, Display and Programmatic channels + Demonstrated editorial judgement and skills for assessing content that is likely to meet KPIs + Excellent project management skills + Strong written, oral and visual communication skills; proven experience articulating complex research and technical problems in ways that can be understood and appreciated by non-experts + A passion for creative storytelling + Fluency with cloud and developer technologies, Oracle products, and scientific or research environments a plus + Previous experience in a journalistic, collegiate, corporate or media environment a plus. + The ability to learn quickly, engage effectively in multiple projects simultaneously, navigate complex systems and processes, and adjust priorities quickly, while maintaining a high degree of organization + Fluency in English **Responsibilities** + Take ownership of the content process: from blogs, ads, email copy, website copy updates, customer stories, presentations and the occasional "technical" asset or whitepaper + Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to develop exceptional and unique external-facing collateral that supports business objectives and marketing strategy + Tell great stories, simply. We cover extremely technical and scientific concepts, and want to tell these stories to the world + Hands-on skills with CMSes (WordPress, Drupal, etc), analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), automation tools (Marketo, Pardot, Eloqua), and CRM tools (CX or Salesforce) + Pivot around metrics, and use data to drive decisions + Support the rest of the marketing team by assisting in the maintenance and upkeep of the team's editorial calendar + Drive the website: implement SEO-enhancing processes and policies, assist in a current redesign and plan for continued relevance via quarterly refreshes + Track, manage and store projects and digital assets + Prioritize lead generation, and activities that drive acquisition **Compensation** Commensurate based on experience. **Visa Status Allowed:** US, UK, Other, Remote **Degree/Certifications required:** BS/BA; Digital Marketing Specialty Preferred **Detailed Description and Job Requirements** Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations. Responsible for digital marketing activities to optimize the online user experience, increase marketing effectiveness. Executes online marketing programs such as search optimization (paid and natural search), affiliated marketing, social marketing, and viral marketing to create buzz and inbound demand responses. Drive traffic which ultimately generates sales pipeline. Translates ideas used in demand generation into promotional marketing campaigns and advertising personas. Ensures localized content is leveraged for all digital marketing channels including, web, social, paid advertising and outbound emails Conducts analysis for programs effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs. Collects and analyzes digital/internet/website/mobile data and statistics which monitor and measure the performance of digital traffic and activities to support marketing and campaign optimization, lead generation for sales, product and engineering teams for continuous improvements to product and data driven decision making. Applies statistics-based market intelligence to business issues and formulates recommendations on optimizing the user experience and help drive business outcomes. Monitors and analyzes site performance and reviews tracking metrics to provide solutions to increase search engine ranking and creating marketing personas/audience profiles. Researches and evaluates new technology trends and identifies new optimization opportunities. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
