WHAT WE’VE GOT GOING ON
Looker is seeking a Director to lead our North American sales development team. You will help us define and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring continued alignment between our Sales and Marketing teams. There is a national focus for personnel, planning and management with a global focus for strategic projects, best practices, and optimization. This person will sit at our Headquarters in Santa Cruz, CA OR our New York office.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
Lead the implementation of a world class inbound process based on “loving every lead”. Ensuring achievement of SLAs and governance of such a process. This will involve implementation of a lead routing engine as well as the tracking and monitoring of KPIs.
Lead the implementation of world class enablement function based on certification and badging among all SDRs
Lead the implementation of a world class outbound Sales Development function
Develop and maintain close cross-functional relationships with all Sales leaders to ensure SDR AE incentive alignment, share and implement best practices starting within the enterprise space, full funnel conversion rate analysis and optimization as well as region and territory productivity analysis
Incentive/metrics alignment, SDR capacity planning and optimization, create and manage SDR quota ramp and incentive structures
Liaise with Finance, Sales and Marketing teams to align on quarterly and yearly goals
Quarterly compensation planning and delivery amongst team
Cross-departmental collaboration; Marketing to SDR handoff/feedback loop and SDR to Sales handoff/feedback loop
WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER
You’ve managed a team which includes managers and their respective inbound and outbound teams
Demonstrated success leading a successful sales development organization to achieve pipeline goals both from an inbound and outbound perspective
Strategic ability to drive team structure, headcount optimization, and alignment with sales organization
You’ve hired, you are a coach, a mentor and love supporting career development with demonstrated success promoting from within your team
Desire and experience influencing and educating on enablement, training of processes in alignment with our sales productivity team (currently being formed)
Passion around creating and solidifying and driving career paths in partnership with cross functional department leaders
