Want to be part of HookSounds? We are looking for a UX/UI Designer to turn our ideas into easy-to-use features for products that broaden our value proposition for customers.
UX/UI Designer responsibilities include:
– Understanding the products’ value proposition.
– Understanding current and potential user profiles and needs then designing experiences to satisfy them.
– Designing graphic elements for interaction and navigation. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with user experience design, design principles, prototyping and mocking tools.
– You should also be able to work with engineers and developers to make product ideas come to life. But above all, you need to be passionate about crafting a digital product that has global reach with hundreds of thousands of users.
– Ultimately, you’ll be required to create both functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs while helping us grow our web application’s customer base. Our product has been used by major brands such as Disney, Google, Amazon, and UBER among others.
Specific Responsibilities:
– Understand user profiles and develop useful user personas.
– Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
– Purpose, get and turn A/B hypothesis testing ideas into new screens.
– Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
– Design graphic user interface elements developers can implement easily.
– Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look, using mocking tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe XD, etc.
– Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables).
– Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
– Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) relying on data gathered by tools.
– Propose data-driven approaches to discovering user pain points and opportunities for improvement.
– Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
– Adhere to and develop design style standards on fonts, colors and images throughout the entire project.
Requirements:
– Team spirit
– Strong communication skills and ability to work remotely.
– Perfect english, both spoken and written (part of our team is based overseas and our customers are mostly in USA & Europe).
– Strong product vision to fulfil the end users’ needs.
– Strong design skills are essential, with experience in core design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma or Illustrator.
– A portfolio of design projects is a plus
– Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision) is a plus.
– Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
– Good time-management skills.
This is a part-time position from Monday to Friday.
