The Global eCommerce organization is embarking on a multi-year strategy to (1)
transform our platform to a cloud-hosted, container-based microservice
architecture and (2) expand offerings across customer segments of B2C, SMB,
and B2B, product units of PC, Smart Devices, Mobile, and Data Center, and
channels of marketplace, third-party offerings, and subscription services.
Test Development team is looking for innovative, and results driven
professionals to join our global quality community in eCommerce. As a Software
Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for all aspects of
testing activities; planning, designing, and implementing test scripts for
both the web application and backend integration functions as well as manual
testing where needed. You have experience of working in a large-scale Agile
software development environment and have practical knowledge of cutting edge
testing techniques and tools across multiple platforms. If you identify as

Position Requirements
Your Role
• As part of Agile scrum team, reads and interprets technical documents and
requirements, and constantly identifies potential candidates for automation
that fit overall test strategy
• Plans, designs, implements, executes, and reports the end-to-end testing for
any given requirement independently
• Collaborates with the development team and business partners to ensure
successful delivery and best-in-class customer experience on Lenovo.com
websites
• Works closely with the technical team and product teams to triage and
resolve issues quickly and efficiently
• Manages daily review and analysis of automated tests results and reporting
• Isolates, replicates, reports defects, verifies defect fixes, strives to
reduce technical debt
• Contributes to optimization of best test standards and technology by
researching new tools, techniques, and design patterns to improve end product
quality
• Promotes testing best practices and culture of quality across teams. Strong
supporter of test-driven development.
Required Experience
• Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Excellent written and spoken English language
• Excellent communication and partnering skills
• 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience using Selenium WD in UI and/or
service/API test automation
• 1-3 years of relevant experience on Java, MySQL, Mongo DB
• Deep understanding of end-to-end quality
• Relevant experience of using TestNG, Git, Maven, Jenkins or other
Automation/CI tools and frameworks
• Working knowledge of micro-services architecture and testing
• Years of experience in analyzing and interpreting technical requirement
documents and planning for a testing activity for the same
• Thorough understanding of eCommerce application (offers, configurations,
cart, checkout, payment, orders, account etc.)
• Experience in manual testing (UIUX knowledge preferred)
• Experience working in Agile delivery model
• Self-directed with proven record of demonstrating problem solving,
innovation and initiative
• Capable of deal with ambiguity in fast-paced e-business environment
• Ability to work across various time zones
• Clear sense of accountability and ownership
