Electrical Field Engineer

Essential Responsibilities:
• To Oversee electrical works on site related to project HV Substation, internal MV network and Interconnection/Transmission Line works.
• Analyze/discuss potential issues along with Site Project Manager
• To participate on day to day and weekly meetings with subcontractors
• Supervise overall electrical works execution, MV and HV side and make sure works are built in compliance with approved projects.
• Coordinate involved technical disciplines, in terms of interfaces, synchronization.
• Give necessary input for management / monitoring detailed execution progress and short-term plan.
• Inform of design issues identified on site to Site Project Manager and solve problems/clarify technical doubts on a timely manner.
• Report to Site Project Manager and Project Scheduler about progress on site.
• Provide technical assistance upon request.
• Attend Customer technical meetings, upon request.
• Support the H&S team regarding to H&S issues
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Keep the GE’s back office Engineering team informed of any technical issue.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Have a Bachelor's Degree on Electrical engineering +5 years general experience on MV and HV electrical works. .
• Have minimum 5 years’ experience on HV Substations and Transmission Lines Construction Supervision (110kV and above).
• Knowledge of international and local electrical codes related to substations and Tx lines (design and construction).
• Good understanding of civil and electrical substation drawings.
