Enterprise Risk Manager

We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager. The role-holder will lead the design and implementation of risk management processes across the business and support all elements of the risk management process. This will include conducting regular risk identification, assessment and evaluation activities with management? defining risk appetite with risk owners. With straight up support and education to our key stakeholders, building risk awareness campaign.

Being part of our Risk & Compliance Team, the role-holder will proactively facilitate and work collaboratively with the business as a valued business partner whilst maintaining appropriate independence in its assurance and oversight activities.

You will be accountable for:

- Leads the development, enhancement and regular maintenance of the enterprise risk management framework to keep up to date and in-line with industry best practice, including risk appetite, operational risk, policy and procedures, and reporting

- Acts as the main point of contact for enterprise risk in the second line, responding to first and second line queries

- Develops and maintains the operational risk system

- Reviews and validates business-wide policies and risk appetites prior to annual sign off from the Board;

- Ensures the Board, management and employees have the relevant and appropriate level of knowledge and awareness of the enterprise risk management framework and supports the business to ensure that they are aware of and meet the requirements of this framework

- Assesses, challenges and reports enterprise risk issues and exposures to the Risk & Compliance Director

- Works collaboratively with the leadership team and functions across the business, including outsource partners

- Experienced individual with detailed enterprise risk management experience gained in the financial services industry

- Strategic awareness and capability with the capacity to take a whole view of the business

- Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices

- Experience of delivering high quality outputs within a robust control and regulatory framework to tight deadlines

- Experience in risk governance, policies, risk appetite and reporting preferred
