Key points and objectives of the position As a Human Resources Executive at Mercedes-Benz Taiwan, you will take a lead role in managing payroll processes and driving talent development initiatives. This position requires a strategic mindset, proficiency in payroll administration and a strong understanding of talent management. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who can balance the dual responsibilities of payroll management and talent development seamlessly.
Description of tasks Payroll Management • Perform payroll operations, and manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with finance to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Stay abreast of changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary updates.
• Maintain HR IT Systems (i.e. HRWT, ESS, ePARS, EWD) to ensure all employees' records are properly and timely documented and maintained.
Employee Benefits Administration • Manage employee benefits programs, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
• Collaborate with external vendors to optimize benefit offerings.
Talent Management • Organize Performance Management Processes (e.g. Goal Agreement, IDP, LEAD & Impulse), and performance bonus payout process in compliance with corporate policies and guidelines.
• Assist business managers in defining and deliv ering employee development plan from onboarding to different career stages in conjunction with employees' performance & potential status.
• Coordinate employee communication activities and company events (Teambuilding, Strategy workshop, Family Day…)to increase employee engagement.
Business Partnering • Responsible for all recruiting activitie s for responsible business units.
• Act as trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures and conflict resolution.
• Together with the line managers, determine the organization structure/chart, roles, job description and goals for each line functions and ensure the information is up to date (through Mercer IPE methodology & Org Policy).
Team Support May assume responsibility for other projects in the HR department as necessitated by business demands Qualifications Experience • At least 5 years of solid experiences in the HR.
• Relevant work experience in Multi-national companies is a plus.
