At the same time Core Data Lake and Data Hubs Program is bringing to bear Cloud to transform BI and Analytics for the company, harmonizing various data types and allowing standard solutions tailored specifically for unique needs of specific Business Units.
DH Platform OEMS team is strategically placed between Cloud Center of Expertise (COE) and Cloud Service Partners (MS Azure, Amazon AWS, Google GCP) and DH applications to enable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) that meet Data Hubs business cases - providing secure, most performant, stable, cost effective technical "bricks" to application teams in fastest way adjusted to application constraints / strategies. We are focused heavily on automating all our processes including provisioning to provide a positive end-user experience and allow broader scale and keeping consistency over time of standards and standard methodologies defined by the DH Platform OEMS team.
Data Hub Platform Infrastructure and Network Services Engineers will be members of ITS OEMS team (IT Solutions Operations, Engineering and Managed Services). In this role you will use good technical skills to deliver in fast, flexible and simple way but secure & compliant cloud capabilities (primarily Azure) to internal Data Hub application teams - targeting automation and self-service.
Responsibilities:
- Create or drive creation of provisioning scripts (PowerShell, ARM templates, JSON) with Cloud Team to enable D&A DevOps and DH Platform Utility Engineers to self-provision security compliant Azure services in quick, easy way.
- Work with DEVOPS on holistic patch management plan to provide structure and flexibility to individual application teams while maintaining security compliance.
- You demonstrate capabilities (Containers, infrastructure automation/configuration tools) to support effective patching and compliance.
- Provide holistic Operational Recovery and Disaster Recovery Plans for end to end Core Data Platform and Data Hubs, utilizing capabilities and services offered by Cloud Operations team where possible.
- Develop automation scripts that verify Data Hub infrastructure compliance (Puppet, Wazuh, Tenable, Centrify, FireEye, McAfee, Domain Join, MFA, etc)
- Handle "Deep" Problem support (investigate and find permanent fixes where Prod is having to use a work around due to capability not working correctly).
- Develop prototypes of internal applications/tools supporting DevOps

Qualifications
- You show good knowledge of PowerShell and/or Linux environment and shell (bash) scripting
