Assist with monitoring, reporting and controlling of the expenses line of different areas of the company.
Journal preparation (JVU) for any ad-hoc request (accounting postings)
Detailed focus on the P&L of projects assigned ensuring the current year, rolling forecast, and sensitivity analysis.
Analyze and look for financial benefit opportunities related to all areas of the company that are related to the assigned function.
Build a strong network within BAT to ensure that issues can be quickly identified and resolved
Essential Requirements:
2-3 years post qualification experience in a similar job specification within a multi-cultural environment in a multinational company
Accounting, business or engineering degree with professional qualification
Highly numerate, analytical, organized, flexible and accurate
Good computer literate including experience with standard packages (SAP, Office)
Rigorous and attention to detail. Ability to anticipate problems, foresee timely solutions and adapt accordingly
A strong inclination to look for any improvement areas and ability to lead and implement change whilst maintaining a controlled environment.
