Delivering financial analysis that enhances decision making and providing the view regarding performance and opportunities that exist for further investigation and/or improvements.
Collaborate with Financial Accounting, Treasury & Risk Management teams to identify business optimization opportunities (e.g. EBITDA, working capital deployed)
This position provides analyzed information in a structured way, assessing historic & current business performance, highlighting areas of opportunity to prioritize and build action plans. This team is tasked with leading management reporting and analysis which may include forecasting/commentary, product profitability analysis and cost analysis – as examplesManagement Reporting, Analysis and Forecasting (70%)Demonstrate strong financial management skills to analyze and evaluate financial data and statements and articulate it to business leaders, so that they can take efficient decisions.Manage the budget/Forecasting process with the different stakeholders in order to help ensure an accurate budget/forecast output. Work together with the treasury are to ensure the forecast cashflow information.Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting and analysis of business performance (KPIs, Metrics). Partner effectively with stakeholders for reporting and data needs, defining which performance indicators will be needed to explain/measure business performance and the frequency – design and deliver the report with the right level of analysis.Identify and communicate financial risks and impacts or opportunities, through information/data analysis, and give visibility/solutions for the Business leaders in a timely manner.Provides input and identifies opportunities to improve data integrity and usefulness for effective management reportingImprove reporting through leveraging technology (Tableau, Power BI)Understand legacy systems and develop a strong management information system/process.Able to continuously improve the level of management reporting within the team.Respond to ad hoc requests from FP&A commercial teams as per the business needs.Responds to moderately complex ad-hoc requests with constructive and high quality solutions.Business Partnership (20%)Provide commentary and initial analysis and interpretation of the results to the business.Work closely with the Accounting, Risk Management and Treasury team to achieve finance objectives.Continuous Improvement (10%)Support a culture of intellectual curiosity and continuous leaning to meet self and team individual development goalsSupport the transition of the organization to the end state organizationKeep updated to improvements.Occasionally travel as business required Critical ability to deal with large level of ambiguity and large scale change
Minimum Required Qualifications. CPA or Business Management or Management Engineering Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience Advanced Excel and data analytics including demonstrated ability for use of BI tools Broad/diverse commercial knowledge Proven accounting/finance professional with strong analytical skills Highly effective people skills able to lead by example and motivate for high performance Experience leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making Demonstrated commitment to Internal Controls Ability to communicate and use visualization tools (e.g. dashboards) to tell the story Demonstrated flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity English proficiency
Preferred Qualifications Professional accounting designation Understanding and experience working with JDE, NIS, SAP, and Skype for Business Experience with Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools Experience with multiple businesses and/or international business experience (Food Feeding and Agriculture business are the preferable) Demonstrated ability to support a team culture of continuous improvement, process optimization, and intellectual curiosity
