WHAT WEVE GOT GOING ON
As part of their next:generation BI strategy, our customers are increasingly leveraging the Looker data platform to drive mission:critical business outcomes. This materializes in complex, enterprise:grade transactional applications which embed Looker's analytical capabilities and integrate with third:party systems, making the insights actionable.
To that end, Looker is seeking application development experts to assist with the realization of full:stack, custom applications leveraging the Looker Data Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front:end application development, a passion for data and analytics, and a customer:oriented mindset.
In this customer:facing role, you will act as a technical lead and partner with a team of leading UI/UX experts and data analysts to design and implement bespoke applications that are compelling to end:users.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
Act as technical lead on customer projects
Facilitate requirements gathering and translate the business requirements into a technical solution design
Partner with the project manager and lead a technical project team of front:end and back:end developers, data analysts, UX designers to realize the customer's application in a rapid and iterative manner
Enable customer developers, analysts and business users in a hands:on, player:coach capacity
Thought leadership: develop best practices, patterns, and enable the ecosystem to develop best:in:class data applications with Looker
Partner closely with our Product and Engineering teams to improve Looker's product capabilities
WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER
7+ years of software implementation/services experience as a front:end developer or technical lead
2 : 3 years of customer:facing experience, preferably with a leading system integrator or Enterprise SaaS company
Experience in Front:end technologies (React, Angular, Vue, JS, CSS)
Experience in UI/UX design a plusFull:stack programming expertise a plus
A passion for exploring data and extracting valuable insights
Proven analytical, problem:solving, and troubleshooting expertise
Ability to travel :50
