Sr Software Engineer

Role Overview:
We are looking for a new team member who is passionate about creating, maintaining and constantly looking for improvements in the development and implementation process. and wants to join our collaborative team as a Software Engineer to help drive the high quality of our corporate encryption product family. This role will report an Engineering Manager within the Corporate Products Team.

About the Role:
You will design, code and document complex software architectures and systems.
You will create, maintain and constantly look for improvements in the development and implementation process.
You will eventually act as technical interface, scheduling and attending meetings, explaining the technology in the proposed solutions, articulating design rationale and function strategy as it relates to accomplishing goals.
You will obtain and discuss feedback, and follow through on resulting action items while and investigating and answering customer questions.
You will test your own code and make sure it works in every environment (even Production), every time.
You will perform code reviews, and fix bugs.
You will communicate with people in Spanish and English.
You will learn new technologies.
About You:
You have training and experience in Computer Science.
You have more than 5 years experience developing Python applications, both cloud services and client:side.
You have more than 5 years experience with Python in both Linux and Windows deployments.
You have experience with different frameworks and micro frameworks.
You have experience with packaging and distributing Python applications (e.g., pip)
You have experience with task schedulers such as Celery.
You have experience creating and/or integrating Python bindings with native libraries (C/C++).
You have worked with agile practices / scrum methodologies.
