ChampionX has an immediate need for a General Ledger Junior Analyst to join its Global Financial Services team, which provides administrative back office services to Chemical Technologies division globally. This position is located in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and contributing to perform month end activities to comply with DTP, policies, procedures and operational deadlines. You will also have the opportunity to apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare and record journal entries.

What You Will Do:
- Responsible to contribute in achieving the general ledger metrics defined in the organization,
- Assist in performing accounting general functions in collaboration with RTR team
- Perform routine activities in daily basis (i.e. processing invoices, cash application, cost set up, etc.),
- Prepare and enter journal entries into Blackline. Explain, prepare and maintain supporting documentation,
- Account reconciliations within your area of control. Assist with the analysis, follow-up on open items, maintain support documentation and escalation to the right levels
- Preparation of supporting documentation for audit purpose (SOX, internal and external)
- Collaborate with Team Leads and Senior Analysts in different GL activities
- Support internal and external audits
Position Details:
- Candidate must reside in Buenos Aires, Argentina
Profile Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or similar
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working with Excel
- English proficiency
Profile Preferred qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in similar positions
- Process oriented, ability to analyze data, drive for results and problem resolution
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player
