Guide all salespersons/sales managers in setting their objectives on a long and short-range basis.Direct sales managers to set sales and gross objectives for new vehicle salespeople.Assist the Regional General Manager in forecasting controllable expense elements for the Variable and Fixed Departments.Communicate with sales managers to ensure dealership policies and procedures are understood.Follow and enforce all company policies, procedures, and processes.Review quarterly reports on the gross performance of new vehicle salespeople with sales managers.Assist in developing improvement programs for the sales department to reach their objectives.Conduct daily and/or weekly sales training meetings as directed by the Regional General Manager.Oversee efforts to enhance the dealership's image.Ensure that Product Knowledge is maintained at a very high level.Ensure that the New Vehicle Delivery process is followed closely.Review the handling of incoming sales calls.Keep an accurate account of floor traffic.Attend Managers' meetings as required.Serve as liaison with factory representatives.All successful applicants must possess the following qualities: Preferred 5 years of experience as a General Manager in an Automotive Dealership.Superior management, leadership, and customer service skills.Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.Ensure high standards are held for vehicle delivery to customers.Ensure sales representatives understand and follow dealership policies at all times.Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with customers, subordinates, and management.Be extremely organized.Be self-motivated.Ability to work in a team environment to achieve common goals.Experience with internet and retail tools, One-Eighty, and CDK.Valid VSA License is required.Advantages of the Dilawri Lifestyle: First-hand mentoring from auto industry leadersEmployee discounts on vehicle purchases and leasesEmployee discounts on service and partsCompetitive compensationExclusive Dilawri offersA true Family cultureDilawri Group of Companies is Canada's largest automotive group with 75+ franchised dealerships representing 35+ automotive brands across Quebec, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, and Washington DC.
