German Analyst

Position at a GlanceThis position is for an analyst who understands the German political environment. The analyst would be based out of our offices in Chile, working closely with a team of economists from the sell side of an investment bank tracking all major economic indicators of Germany and the European Union. The candidate should have the ability to analyze the effect these indicators could have in the financial markets.Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:• Tracking all major economic indicators of Germany and the EU region, analyzing their potential impact on financial markets• Understanding inter-linkages between the macroeconomic indicators internal to the country as well as external• Having a good knowledge of research databases, handling large amounts of data and creating charts and tables• Writing reports and commentaries as well as compiling news roundups• Creating and working on Econometric models• Handling ad hoc research requests
