Global IT Portfolio Cost Administrator Job Description The IT Performance and Effectiveness team is a collaborative entity that engages across the business and serves as the conduit between the various K-C stakeholders, business leaders and project teams for IT. Ensuring that activities are aligned to the business objectives set forth in the insight stage, this team provides benefit targeting, tracking and measuring to demonstrate value created through IT initiatives and programs.
As part of that team, the Portfolio Administrator for Global IT Cost Management will be responsible for the provision of portfolio and Clarity support services as well as IT capital administration. As a key member of the cost management team the individual will be responsible for providing support services ensuring quality data standards while maintaining flexibility to ensure customer requirements are met in accordance to established SLA’s.
Scope/Categories:
Role will report to IT Performance & Effectiveness – Manager, Global IT Cost Management.
Key Interfaces: Project Managers, Portfolio Coordinators, Service Requestors, Infrastructure, and Finance.
Travel may include approximately 0-20% of work time.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide timely and accurate purchase and/or renewal of IT support services.
Management and standardization of global requisitioning requirements and processing.
Validation and approval of IT invoices for payment.
Processing and approval routing of capital appropriations and expenses.
Accurate recording of accruals and actual portfolio spending.
Reconciliation of costs across tools to ensure maintenance of accurate records.
Adherence to established SLA’s to ensure quality customer support.
Accurate metrics reporting to enable identification of change opportunities and achievement of objectives.
Streamline, standardize and simplify processes across global areas of responsibility.
Key Qualifications and Experiences :
Basic Qualifications
Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong collaboration skills with ability to work within and across teams.
Demonstrated track record of success in building trust with customers.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Passion to be an integral partner to the business.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of accounting.
