Please submit your resume in English The Team Operating as part of a Global Centralized HR Support Center in the Global People Services (GPS) Team, the Senior HR Advisor is responsible for providing Human Resources administrative and staff support for Global HR, employees and managers. The Senior HR Advisor's primary responsibility is processing HR transactions including direct client interface as well as research, analysis, report preparation, interacting with employees and managers on a variety of HR issues, training and advising on policies and procedures, onboarding new employees, processing terminations, and preparing letters and company documents. Fast pace, heavy workload, changing priorities, demanding clients are part of the environment. Work is generally of a critical, time-sensitive or confidential nature. The Senior HR Advisor will work in varying shifts allowing for support coverage during core business hours for their respective region.
The Role The Benefits Senior Advisor will play a key role in managing and overseeing employee benefits programs across the United States and LATAM regions. This position ensures compliance with regional labor laws, optimizes benefits administration processes, and serves as the subject matter expert for employee benefits inquiries. The ideal candidate will excel at navigating the complexities of international benefits programs and collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality service.
Oversee and manage benefits programs in the US (e.g., health insurance, 401k, FMLA, COBRA) and LATAM (e.g., social security, paid leave, food vouchers, transportation subsidies).Handle HR transactions related to employee benefits in both regions, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with local labor laws and company policies.Act as a liaison with external vendors and internal teams to coordinate employee benefits enrollments, claims, and dispute resolution.Ensure compliance with US labor laws (e.g., ACA, FMLA, COBRA) and LATAM labor regulations (e.g., social security, paid leave entitlements).Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative changes affecting employee benefits and update internal stakeholders and processes accordingly.Monitor and audit benefits transactions to adhere to company standards and regional labor laws.Provide clear guidance and education to employees on benefits options, eligibility, and enrollment processes.Partner with internal HR teams to address complex benefits issues and escalate matters as needed.Collaborate with external vendors and the internal Benefits team to manage employee benefits enrollments, claims, and disputes.Continuously evaluate HR transactions and benefits processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Assist with streamlining workflows, automating routine tasks, and enhancing the overall employee experience related to benefits administration.What you need Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.5+ years of experience in HR, with at least 2+ years in a shared services or HR support role, including U.S. Benefits administration experience.Familiarity with U.S. Benefits programs, including health insurance, 401k, FMLA, and COBRA, and the associated regulations and compliance requirements, and LATAM benefits programs and compliance requirements.Experience using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for managing documents and communications.Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex benefit issues and HR processes to employees and managers.High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with care.Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving HR processes and enhancing service delivery.Ability to work independently within a virtual team environment.Please submit your resume in English About us
