The Supply Chain organization for the cluster is responsible for the full application of the regional and corporate strategy in the operational processes in procurement, logistic, customer care and international trade.
The position must to implement and participate in developing the supply chain hub locations in the area driving synergies across Southern Cone cluster which includes Argentina, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay Countries
Responsibilities / Tasks
The Head of Supply Chain reports to the Regional Country Manager Director and ensures seamless in and out bound logistics including logistics for customer sites. S/he is also responsible for lean and efficient management of the local warehouse.
The position holder is responsible for leading a team delivering homogeneous outputs or results. They require expertise in their area of responsibility. The reporting relationship between the position holder and their employee/s or reporting lines is obvious to all.
Should define and develop new processes and operational action in line with corporate strategy and with direct influence on the results of the respective region and low to medium risk potential for the group. S/he implements processes and standards, which have mid:term strategic relevance for the country and direct impact on financial results.
The Key Management Priorities For The Roles
: Coordination of staffing and resourcing
: Management of efficient cooperation of supply chain functions with sales and service functions
: Implementation and rolls out of Strategic procurement / Global Logistic Strategy / category management of Global Operations
: Ensure high service quality of Logistic and Warehouse, Procurement, Customer Care and International Trade functions, direct and indirect material, ordering across the cluster and local hubs to achieve agreed performance levels.
: Provide and optimize overall project supply, purchasing and delivery, on time in full at best cost in the region, including small projects supply needs.
: Execution of orders (not including lead:buying)
: Develop and drive supply chain and procurement activities for the BU
: Secure availability of resources and materials, achieve the required performance targets in terms of cost and delivery time
: Synchronize the requirements of the customer with the flow of materials from suppliers in order to achieve a balance between, high delivery performances, low working capital, and low spend.
: Manage Continuous Improvement of supply:chain processes and structure (strategy, methods, tools, personnel development, etc.) and related key figures.
: Ensure compliance to QHSE regulations.
: Drive internationalization of procurement activities
: Manage and coordinate key suppliers, assess supplier quality, secure priorities, availability of products and materials
: Define pricing and contractual conditions, negotiate discounts and define terms of payment with suppliers
: Set and control saving targets for the relevant categories and track Implementation of cost reduction projects, ensure standard spend and savings reporting
: Lead projects for Make or Buy and drive for decisions and implementation
: Identify and assess key strategic suppliers for modules and complete machines
: Be the direct interface for Global Procurement and Supply Chain
Your Profile / Qualifications
: University, master's degree in engineering or business administration or equivalent educational level.
: Min 10 years relevant experience in managing Supply Chain and Production in multinational companies.
: Profound know how of supply/demand planning,
: English, local language, and preferably further languages.
: Profound leadership skills.
: Entrepreneur in Supply Chain and Production.
